Mr. Hernandez’s 2nd hour did a lab on worms and how they can regenerate body parts after a certain amount of time.

Stretched out worm

First, they filled a tray with water to stretch out the worm enough.  The class average on the length of the worm was 17 mm!

Then they watched the worm to see how it ate and how it moved through the water.

Thirdly, they finally cut the worm in half so that the new two pieces will be looked at after Christmas break is over to see how much the worms have grown.
