This has been a very exciting year for the drama students at South High. They had four productions this year, including To Kill a Mockingbird, Numbers Nerds, Crazytown, and recently finishing the year with Macbeth.

After hearing a prophecy of becoming King of Scotland by a trio of witches. Macbeth, spurred on by this foresight and his wife’s convincing, he murders the previous king, Duncan and takes the throne for himself. In his paranoia and guilt, he continues to commit murders to protect his good image. His crimes lead to a tyrannical ruling, which ultimately leads into a war resulting in the demise of both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.

Lady Macbeth

Senior thespians Kait Carter, Rachel Bays, Alexis Aramburu, Bellaly Escalante, Jaren Brown, Diana Rodriguez, Lydia Williams, Emily Henry, and Noah Zimmerman will be leaving South High this year. They will be missed, but we hope they move on to bigger and better things!
