LGBTQ+ Discrimination
Hate towards LGBTQ+ individuals, especially black transgender women, has stayed consistent over the last few decades since the stonewall riots. I say this because as of today’s time, the average lifespan for a black transgender woman is 35.
Without Marsha P. Johnson, we would not be where we are today regarding movement in the community. Education is key and teaching people about our rights is the only way we can leap forward.
