Journalism Students Going to State
Last month newspaper students worked hard and competed in the 2022 KSPA Regional contest. This contest has visual and writing contests to compete in, with categories like editorial writing, infographics, and much more. The results have come back with 6 of our South High students making it to state.
- Diana Grajeda- 3rd in copy editing and 6th place in news writing
- Kaylee Fritz- 6th place in feature writing
- Bowie Darrah- 2nd place in editorial writing
- Phoenix Calhoun- 6th place in review writing
- Mezmariz Hernandez and Adriana Tucker- 4th place in social media
