Kansas wins March Madness 2022!

Congratulations to the Kansas Jayhawks for defeating UNC’s Tar Heels in the finals with a score of 72-69. In a tournament that featured many classic matches and enormous upsets in multiple rounds, Kansas fought their way into the history books.

Kansas was down 40-25 going into the half, but made a valiant comeback to make it an even matchup. It was close up until the end, but the Tar Heels were unable to get the game-tying shot at the buzzer. This is their 4th national championship and their first since 2008. The historic club had to fend off the 8th seeded UNC, whos seed didn’t tell the full story. UNC defeated a tournament favorite Duke, the legendary underdog story of Saint Peters, and dominated the number one seed Baylor. Ochai Agbaji was named Most Outstanding Player following the victory.
