Rose’s Top 3 Halloween Games -OPINION

Whether it’s old indie games, or new indie games, the one genre that will always reign above many others is horror. That being said, many are better than others, and I’ll be talking about my top 3 picks for horror games.

3.

Number three on the list is the game BARK, made by Vano. Bark costs $9.99, and is on the game platform Steam. It’s a horror survival game where you play as a dog in a neglective, abusive household. If you escape though, eventually the dog starves to death. There’s also at least 2 other endings, yet I haven’t seen them yet.

Next, number two on the list is the game Lost in Vivo, produced by Akuma Kira. Lost in Vivo is a horror game where you see the protagonist’s struggles in Exposure Vivo Therapy. It has many terrifying moments in it whilst your trying to get through it, for example how in one scene the dog approaches and yet splits into two halves with a creature coming out of the fake dog.

Finally, the top number one game would have to be Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion. Once called Spooky’s House of Jump Scares, Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion is a classic indie horror game made by Akuma Kira as well. The base game is $11.98 on Steam, whilst it’s DLCs are Karamari Hospital for $1.99, and The Doll House for $3.99. Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion gets to be on the top of the list, because it’s an old horror game many people on the internet know. Many people, such as Markiplier, played even the base game and they all got scared out of their mind.
