The stage is set! Superbowl 57 will be between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 12, at 5:30 PM central time.
The Eagles had a ticket punched to the Superbowl when Brock Purdy got hurt and there backup QB got hurt as well. Is history repeating itself? The Eagles beat the Vikings 38-7 in the playoffs back in 2018, 5 years ago. And the Eagles beat the Giants this year 38-7.
This Superbowl will be the first to have 2 brothers playing against each other. Which are Travis Kelce (TE) and Jason Kelce (C). Also will be the first Superbowl to feature 2 black quarterbacks in Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, who will be the youngest combined quarterback matchup in the Superbowl. Travis/Jason Kelce’s mom was ask “Who are you rooting for in the Superbowl?” She replied with “The Offense.”
The Chiefs and the Eagles will be healthy for the Superbowl, except for wide receiver Mecole Hardman. He re-activated his groin injury during the Chiefs/Bengals game, he will not be playing.
This will be the most explosive Superbowl in the past years. The number 1 offense (KC) will be going against the number 2 defense (PHI). The last time these 2 went at it, it was last season. The Chiefs scored on every drive except one. The Chiefs put up 42 points. The Chief’s defense also got shredded, Jalen Hurts kept it close and scored 30. This will be an explosive Superbowl. I got my Chiefs 38-31.
