Texans Sign Former Steelers WR

The Houston Texans are adding a dynamic special teamer in their playoff run as they prepare for their Divisional round matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, as they’re signing former Pittsburgh Steelers Steven Sims.

Sims spent two years with the Steelers as their kick/punt returner in 2021 and 2022. In 13 games, he returned 19 punts for 105 yards and 17 kicks for 434 yards.

He’s played three games for the Texans this year for 25 yards, handling four punt-for 49 yards and three kick returns for 71 yards.

The Texans are set to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round of the playoffs. During their win over the Cleveland Browns, Houston lost wide receiver Noah Brown. They’re looking to replace him with multiple wideouts as they move forward, including Sims.
