On Monday, Elon Musk had the iconic blue bird logo for Twitter changed to the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin. The app image hasn’t changed but the loading screens and home screen logos have all been changed to this Dogecoin meme. After the logo was changed the Dogecoin cryptocurrency spiked by more than 30% and Elon caused this to happen in 2021 December he announced Tesla would take Dogecoin for some products and that caused a 20% jump in 2022 when he announced the Dogecoin payments were live it raised another 15%.
In a tweet, Elon showed this picture with the text “As promised”. So it seems all this happened from a random man requesting it to be done. Elon has done a lot of things since he bought Twitter, but I’m pretty sure this is the biggest thing done so far. This could just be an April Fool’s joke, no one knows for certain if this logo will be permanent yet.
