On April 12th 2023, a family member of Jamie Foxx announced that Jamie was hospitalized. They said it was a “Medical complication” they haven’t gotten into detailed on what that means exactly. 3 months later on May 3rd, 2023, through his Instagram Jamie Foxx himself posted “Appreciate all the love !!! Feeling Blessed” (as pictured below).
While still being in the hospital. According from his daughter Corinne Foxx, he’s already feeling better due to the “quick action and great care”. She also added “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The Family asks for privacy during this time.” Is Jamie Foxx doing well? According to sources “I have heard that he’s doing well.” “We have a lot of mutual friends that are keeping me updated. I’ve been praying really hard for him.” Nick Cannon said Foxx was “alert”. “He’s still in the hospital and doctors are running tests but he’s up and awake.” A source told People on April 21st, “They’re keeping him under observation.” CNN said that Georgia doctors are what led to Jamie’s medical complications, “They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened.” Multiple celebrities are sending their prayers to Jamie including Lebron James, Kerry Washington, and Martin Lawrence saying “I hear he’s doing better… My Prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood.” Also he said “Not only one of the best entertainers but a good person.”
