Doja Cat has been in lots of controversy lately due to many actions that some may say are outrageous. Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, professionally known as Doja Cat or Doja. Doja started her music career on Soundcloud back in 2013 at 16 years old. She released her first EP “Purrr!” in 2014, which includes her first hit “So High”. She began to rise to fame in 2018 with her single “Mooo!”, becoming popular in 2018.
Although she has been gaining lots of popularity over the years, her latest actions have been affecting her fame. From her being unnecessarily rude to her fans, to her blocking people when they reach out to her about her recent boyfriend J. Cyrus (who has lots of controversies of his own), she has been doing a few questionable things lately.
One of her most recent controversies was when she shaved her head back on August 5, 2022. From then, her fans have became distasteful of her, especially after she started becoming rude to her fans for seemingly no reason. After all of her disrespectful comments and posts, nearly 400,000 fans unfollowed her on Instagram, which caused a large impact on her social media presence. Her fans have been divided, some saying she is just tired of the music industry and just expressing herself, and others saying she needs to stop trying to be edgy. She has yet to respond to all of the allegations.
