Gabby Petito Death

During the summer, Gabby Petito and fiancé Brian Laundrie were traveling across the world together and had a following online. Everything seemed to be perfect but that was far from the truth. The relationship between the two was crumbling and Gabby was trying to escape the nightmare that was her engagement. However, the last that she heard from was on August 25, 2021 and Brian has returned by himself in the white Ford van and is refusing to say the whereabouts of Gabby.

During the summer, Gabby Petito and fiancĂ© Brian Laundrie were traveling across the world together and had a following online.

The last post on Gabby’s Instagram captioned “Happy Halloween”

Her parents are terrified as she may be missing or possibly deceased. She was reported missing on September 11, 2021. Plus, where Brian is has been unknown since Tuesday. Unfortunately, remains in Wyoming, closely similar to the description of Gabrielle, have been found and have been confirmed to be her.

Before her death, she and Brian were together and were in the mix of an argument. Police were called and the two separated (Brian went to a hotel and gabby kept the van the two have been traveling in) as gabbys anxiety and OCD were at a high.

At the end of 2020, nearly 90,000 people went missing. However, the Petito case has gotten national attention in the last few weeks. It is important to note that the 90,000 other cases are just as important and deserve to be talked about because 543,018 people have gone missing in 2020 and nearly 40% of those were people of color.

As a community, it is important to be aware and look out for each other. This is a perfect example of someone’s life, that seems perfect, ending in a tragedy.
