Florida rapper, YNW Melly, or Jamell Demons, and his friend Cortlen Henry were arrested and charged with the murder of their two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. on February of 2019. Police say that Melly shot the two victims then staged it to look like a drive-by shooting. Henry later then brought Williams and Thomas Jr. to the Memorial Miramar Hospital with several gun wounds where they were both later pronounced dead. Jamell was 19 at the time.

Jamell now 22, had a court hearing on November 30th, 2021. The prosecution is requesting Jamell’s DNA with an oral swab to see if it matches that of the Florida crime scene. Melly now has a trial date set for March of 2022. Fans are posting, exciting to see the rappers possible release in two months.
