The story of the Showtime Lakers era that Jerry Buss, played John C. Reilly, is an amazing show that uses film trickery to give the show that vintage 1980’s look. With a cast that truly captures their historical counterparts well, like Jason Clarke as the legendary Jerry West or Quincy Isaiah as Earvin “Magic” Johnson, this show tells the highs and lows of the Lakers in a seemingly dying league, the NBA.

Abbott Elementary:

A show that has glimpses of what made The Office a legendary mockumentary-style show, Abbott Elementary is a humorous TV show detailing the life of the teachers in an elementary. With a fun and diverse cast, the upbeat Janine Teagues (played by Quinta Brunson), or the substitute teacher Gregory, which Tyler James Williams has been playing very well, or even the fan-favorite shady principle Ava Coleman, played by the talented Janelle James, Abbott Elementary looks like it could be a mainstay on ABC for years to come.
