We Need to Talk About Ezra Miller
Nonbinary Actor, Ezra Miller, has recently been arrested in Hawaii not once but TWICE in March and April of 2022. After their arrests, we are learning more and more about Ezra’s past and how they might not be as good of a person as we thought.
Arrests
Ezra Miller was arrested for second-degree assault in Hawaii less than four weeks after the “Flash” and “Fantastic Beasts” star was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hilo, Hawaii. Their first arrest was on March 28th at a bar. Miller had become unruly and yelled obscenities while other patrons sang karaoke. They grabbed the microphone from a woman singing and lunged at a man playing darts. Miller was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, and they paid the $500 bail, and were released. Ezra’s second arrest was for second-degree assault on April 19. According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became irate after being asked to leave and threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead and resulting in a half-inch cut.
Concerning history
The 29-year-old “Flash” actor has been embroiled in multiple controversies throughout his life. From signing controversial roles to throwing shade, from possession of marijuana to noise complaints, from kissing a fan to assault allegations. Here’s a look at some of their most contriversal moments.
In June 2011, Miller was arrested for possession of 20 grams of marijuana while he was filming for “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” They were only fined $600 for two citations of disorderly conduct; Miller told the New York Magazine: “I don’t feel like there’s any need to hide the fact that I smoke pot. It’s a harmless herbal substance that increases sensory appreciation.”
At the 2017 Comic-Con, Miller was asked by a fan if he was drunk. Miller then replied, “Does anyone know why it would be hard for the Flash to get drunk? Because he has a fast metabolism!” The fan then asked if he could smell Miller’s breath as proof. Shocking the male fan, the actor planted a kiss on his lips and asked, “How’d it smell?”
In April 2020, a video surfaced on Twitter that depicted the actor seemingly choke-slamming a woman. On the seven-second video, it shows Miller saying, “Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” to a young woman, who appears to be jokingly preparing herself for a fight and smiling. Miller then grabs her by the throat and throws her to the ground. At this point, the person filming says, “Woah, bro. Bro,” and stops shooting, with the footage ending abruptly.
TikTok
Mia Solange posted a TikTok with pictures about being in a relationship with Ezra Miller. Aparently Solange accused Miller of being abusive throughout the relationship. It was captioned: “You took everything from me. Ezr M***er is not a good human. And I can absolutely say so without being terrified. Abuser.” Some people believe her claims despite having concrete evidence other than that TikTok and other messages she has. Others believe that she is trying to blackmail Miller.
