The YMCA Job Prep Program is a free program that aims to help high school students gain these skills for a summer job:
- Job applications
- How to dress properly for job interviews
- How to do interviews
- Managing money
- Mock interviews
- CPR-AEF and First Aid certification
100% of job prep graduates have been offered a job during the summer!
The enrollment deadline is January 23, 2023, so be sure to sign up soon! If you choose to sign up, classes at South High will begin on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 starting February 6th. If you decide you want to do classes at the downtown YMCA, their times are Mondays from 5-7 and 7-9, Wednesdays from 6-8, and Thursdays from 6-8.
