With 2022 almost wrapped and 2023 on the way, the Guardians of the Galaxy are back in the action. In 2014, Marvel released Guardians of the Galaxy and saw it as a huge hit. The introduction of new characters and expansion of Marvel’s take on space and the cosmos was a strong part of Marvel’s phase 2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 released in 2017 and added onto Marvel’s phase 3. Now with Marvel’s phase 4 wrapped up, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special released. 45 minutes and a direct release to Disney+, it was released on November 25th, 2022. Without spoilers, the special set up some big plot points to be seen in the third installment of the series. The third installment titled, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will follow the rag-tag team on reportedly their last mission. The trailer was teased at D23 a few months back and has now released to the public.
