School can be stressful for everyone, but even more for seniors. Senior year is when we find out what we want to do with the rest of our lives. Some go to college, some study abroad, and some just go straight to work. Most seniors say the week coming back from was great; we got to see our friends and teachers. However, when the second week came, students were not prepared for the assignments that awaited them. Most seniors say they are overwhelmed with how much work they have been given so far, just being a week or two in. Others say they’re having the time with their lives, living on the edge, and being a kid while it lasts.
“I believe we have started this year off way better than the last three years. The tardy system has been improved, the rule enforcement has been altered in a good way, and there has been all around impovement. The teachers have better attitudes and we haven’t had anywhere near as many fights as we did last year.” – Landin Collins
An anonymous senior says they feel like this year the support has made they’re senior year easier from the staff and faculty. This has helped make them want to succeed and encourages them to do their best to graduate.
“This first month of school has been a little messy but I think everyone is getting it figured out. This year feels good with football starting out with a win on the board and students showing pride at the game.” – Parker Talley
