Wichita South High schools JROTC ” Iron Titan Battalion” participated in the Kansas State Archery competition at the Kansas State fairgrounds in Hutchinson. Titans archery team walked away with three top placing trophies Emily Roush who placed overall HS female’s 3rd in bullseye, Clayton McPherson who placed overall HS male 2nd in 3D and 1st place team for 3D. Our Titan Archery team won 1st place in Kansas State for 3D, they also scored a total of 3128 on bullseye. Wichita South High was the only USD 259 school at any level to qualify for both tournaments at nationals!
