The Pop Of the Week for May 11th-17th is Cherry Vanilla Pepsi. Pepsi was first introduced as a drink called “Brads Drink” in New Bern, North Carolina in 1893. Later it was labeled as Pepsi Cola after the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe. In 1903, they moved on to bottling of Pepsi-Cola. The next year the pepsi bottles increased to 19,848 gallons. In 1926, Pepsi received its first logo redesign since the original design of 1905. Then in 1929, the logo changed again. During the Great Depression the Pepsi-Cola Company entered bankruptcy. Then later on rose up again. Cherry Vanilla Pepsi is a burst of wild cherry and a splash of vanilla combined. Go out and try Cherry Vanilla Pepsi today!
