Since March of 2020, COVID-19 cases have been rising and dropping. Finally, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, along with the World Health Organization, would declare the end of the public health emergency on May 11, 2023. However, many doctors have come out and warned that there is a possible increase an illnesses related to COVID-19, calling this a “tripledemic” The Centers for Disease Control have estimated over 15 million illnesses and 9,300 deaths from this flu season. Many businesses and schools have come out and restored mask requirements. Many have been worried about masks returning, and are completely right to be on edge after the breakout of COVID-19. However, with new knowledge on the pandemic, doctors are not to worry about a pandemic like Covid-19 spreading.
