NFL Performance O.T.W: Week 3
This past week of football had some impressive, yet unexpected performances. The top performer came down to two different players. These two players are A.J. Green, wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, and Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Of the two performances, the performance of Aaron Rodgers is slightly more impressive.
Rodgers’ Packers faced up against the Kansas City Chiefs this week. The Chiefs have one of the best, if not the best, defenses in the NFL so this was one of Rodgers’ toughest games of the season. As well as the Chiefs having one of the best defenses, they also have some the loudest fans in the NFL. Rodgers nearly had a perfect game as he completed 24 passes on 35 passing attempts with no interceptions. Of those 24 completed passes, fiveĀ of them resulted in touchdowns. Rodgers also threw for 333 yards leading the Packers to a 38-28 victory in Kansas City.
Rodgers currently leads all quarterbacks with a QB rating of 135.4. The second highest QB rating is held by last weeks performance of the week winner, Tom Brady, who has a 119.6. Rodgers is currently 11th in total passing yards with 771 on the season.
