Who Is Gypsy Rose? Gypsy Rose Blanchard is an American activist who was convicted of second degree murder for the murder of Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, her mother. She was in The Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri for 8 years and was released on Thursday, December 28th 2023. In July of 2022 she married Ryan Scott Anderson in a small prison ceremony with no guests.
