What is NFL Flex Scheduling?
This was first implemented in the NFL in 2006 to ensure the best matchups for Sunday night. The NFL is allowed to use this twice from Weeks 5 to 11 and then anytime from Week 11 to alter the team playing on Sunday Night Football.
