The South Orchestra has an upcoming Christmas concert on December 5th and like many times prior, Truesdell Middle School is joining them. This is a time where middle school students can get a feel of playing on a high school stage which is where they’ll be in a couple years. They will also get a chance of learning from a high school orchestra teacher that has a completely different and more expecting teaching style. Students from middle school will get to collaborate and get assistance from high school students guiding them to make the music sound more professional and filling.
As high school music is more difficult and complex, middle school students will be pushed to play slightly harder music for this concert. This improves their playing skills and gets them prepared for their high school years. Because of their hard work, they deserve a big audience to come and rock it on the stage so come and enjoy some Christmas classics on Thursday, December 5th at 7:00.
