A grand total of seven sets of twins were born in a 24 hour period on the 13th of January. The staff at Wesley Medical Center were absolutely amazed as one after another set of twins appeared.
It started around 5:30am when a pair of babies were born. Then, only an hour or so later, another. This happened again and again, for a sum of seven pairs of twins. Staff believed it was a record for the hospital, normally they deliver a pair or two, but seven was an anomaly. Boys happened to outnumber girls, nine boys and five girls were born on that eventful day.
