On November 10, 2022, The City of Wichita announced they are launching a community survey regarding local government services and resident priorities. The community stakeholder survey is available at Wichita.gov/WPDChiefSearch.
The City of Wichita is looking to source community feedback through a community survey. The survey asks residents their opinions about local government services as well as resident priorities.
The City of Wichita is in partnership with Public Sector Search & Consulting (PSSC) as they seek input from the community as part of the search and selection process for the next Chief of the Wichita Police Department.
After interviews are completed, the review committee will advise the City Manager on final candidates for consideration, further discussions, and final approval.
The search process is predicted to be complete by the fall of 2022.
