Angry Elephant was a barbeque restaurant on the South Side of Wichita that was owned by a man named Santiago Munoz, but the restaurant closed back in January. Santiago’s cousin, Angel Ponce, wants to build a new restaurant in his honor by a different name, Lito’s.
Lito’s is a mixed restaurant that has options for both vegans and non-vegans. The menu will include burgers and tacos that fit the needs of both parties, there are also milkshakes that were on the original menu of Angry Elephant. There are future plans for Lito’s, such as adding a smoker to sell barbeque items and even potentially adding a bar room that sells liquor. The address will be 756 N. Tyler Road
