Towne west square is a mall opened in march of 1981. The Towne West Mall now has 3 anchor stores and compromises over fifty stores . The mall is owned by the Kohan Retail Investment Group. In early June the Evergy power company threatened to shut off the power to Towne West Mall for the lack of payments since November of 2022, an Anonymous source heard about this and paid the bill. It is unconfirmed if this Anonymous source paid the whole bill or just partial. After this incident the Towne west mall was put on a payment plan to where they would have to pay part of a security deposit with there electricity bill. The power was officially cut on September 8th and left the mall employees out of work for a day till it was restored. Now the real question is will this pattern be continued or will they pay the power bill?
