The first football game between South High and Southeast was a great kick to the season. The Titans brought determination, and the crowd watched eagerly as points on the scoreboard grew higher and higher. Our stadium was filled with spirit that night, and it was amazing to experience the first football win. The crowd was engaged, and many people showed up to advocate for our players. Not only is football a fun Friday night activity to go to, but it also helps show your support for the school.
The game started off by letting us know that South had an instant chance of winning as the first touchdown hit the field. Both enemy side and home side supporters, teams, and coaches were on the edge of their seats, waiting to see who would take home the win for their team. With Friday night scoring at 34-20, the Titans scoring higher, and the SE buffs with a loss, the Titans had officially beat Southeast for the second year in a row. The Titan football team put in hard work this year, training for each game as they knew that winning the first home play on their field was important. For the next two games, South will take on Liberal and Dodge and look forward to a big win and hope to see more Titan spirit there.
