So we all know Santa Clause is real right? Well, he certainly is if you didn’t know and he was the Jolly old Fat man with a workshop out in the North pole with elves working in that workshop to make presents to give out to little kids on Christmas. And if you’re really good that year he might slide you something on Christmas Eve.
He was every little kids favorite, adults too, because they think he’s so cool, so cool to the point they would stay up at night just to try and catch him putting their presents under the tree and eating their cookies and milk they prepare for him just before midnight because Santa loves cookies.
And you might ask how does he even get around the world handing out all these presents in just one night? Well he has magical reindeer that fly him and his sled in the sky and drop him off from house to house and he drops the presents off through the chimney. Now he has been doing this for a long time and has been a known icon for a long time.
But there is always someone to stop you from doing good, and for Santa his arch nemesis is the Grinch. The Grinch Hates Christmas and seeing kids all so happy and jolly with their presents, he despises it, it genuinely irks his soul. He has had enough and wants to put a stop to this. He wants to steal Christmas because if he can’t be happy nobody can.
So while Santa clause is trying to do good the Grinch on the other hand is stealing these little kids presents so it’s like Santa was never there to deliver their presents and while doing so he dresses up as Santa Claus basically being his disciple doing everything he does and when he comes down the chimney these kids take a little time to realize because its dark and the grinch wears a similar outfit to put bad rep on Santa’s name.
These kids are confused with how Santa looks when they get closer because the Grinch is green, not fat, odd type of skin and all these other things. The kids who stay up at night see the Grinch because he’s not so swift as Santa and when they catch him they start questioning him because he looks nothing like the stories they have been told. Then the Grinch sets them on his lap and spreads bad news about him and how they have been bad so they won’t get any presents and then he leaves and he does this all around the world as Santa does.
He gets around on a sleigh too, driven by his dog Max. Now at the time all this is happening it goes on through the night without Santa batting an eye and the Grinch is keeping up with him, he’s right on his tail and by the time Santa gets to his last house then is off to the North Pole, the Grinch is about to steal this last one but unexpectedly the kid in the house catches him.
This kid knows about the Grinch and how he wants to steal Christmas so as he was about to leave the kid stops him, he wants to know why he’s doing all of this, why he doesn’t want these kids to be happy, why he’s stealing all the presents. The grinch stops and he says “I’m very annoyed with Whoville’s noisy Christmas festivities, and the mayor had teased me while we were children. He saw it as fun I saw it as bullying.”
The Grinch was emotionally scarred this time of year which led to his isolation and his hatred for Christmas. The kid understood where he was coming from because he himself was teased in school for his looks so the kid comforted him and exposed to him genuine kindness to talk him out of all this, and this exposure to genuine kindness made him have a change of heart, he saw things differently and realized he doesn’t want to take his anger out of everyone for his problems so with this change of heart he put the child’s presents back and they exchanged warm smiles.
Then the Grinch realized a problem: the sun was already starting to come up and he wouldn’t have enough time to put everyone’s presents back in time so he told the kid and that he would need his help and they need to figure out an idea to put everyone’s presents back in time and it was about 6:00AM so they only had about an hour time before everyone would usually start waking up. The kid proposed an idea to get Santa’s help from the North Pole and the Grinch was hesitant at first because well he just stole everything he gave away but realized he had no other options so they hurried back to the Grinches sleigh and went to the north pole which took about 20 minutes.
It was now 6:20AM, the Grinch hurriedly went up to the door of Santa’s work shop but was greeted by the Elves and was asked what he wanted because they know of him and were not too excited to see of him, but the Grinch had explained what he had done and so the Elves hurriedly took him into Santa’s office to explain what happened and Santa was appalled by this but they had no time to waste as it was now 6:40AM.
The plan was to take 3 sleigh’s. The kid, the Grinch and Santa all teamed up and flew across everywhere to deliver all these presents in time and the reindeer are very fast so they could cover ground pretty quickly but they had not time to stop, instead they just dropped them down the chimney.
Santa and the kid both finished their routes and rendezvous back at the North Pole, but the Grinch wasn’t there because he was still finishing up dropping off presents but it was 6:59AM. About this time the Grinch had only one more house to finish up and he made it out in just the nick of time and everyone got their presents so it was all happy now.
Santa wasn’t mad at the Grinch when he got back, because of his jolliness he could never hold a grudge, and forgave him for telling him or everything would’ve been ruined so after all that the Grinch dropped the kid back off at his house and thanked him for his act of kindness and the Grinch went back home happily ever after and that was the end of his tarnishing days.
