This is completely just our opinions and if you don’t agree that’s completely fine.
First, the review of Myriah Forbes:
Last Christmas, my parents got me a Kindle, and I love it. It’s really useful if you’re the type of person that can read on your phone with no problem then I would suggest getting one because I love physical books, but I feel I read a lot more using my Kindle. With kindle you have the ability to get an unlimited subscription, which has a max limit of 20 books at one time, so if you finish a book you can return it to Kindle unlimited and get another book. It’s $11.99, but when I started my subscription. I got 3 months free, saving me $30. I don’t know if it still first 3 months free, but its worth it even if it isn’t. Even if you don’t want to get a Kindle, you can download the app on your phone and just use the app. Plus if you read on the app then go to read on your Kindle, as long as you connect to WIFI you can sync it back up to your app.
Now on the talk of which Kindle to get, personally I suggest getting a 11th Gen Paper white Kindle like I did. Yes, its a bit old since it was made in 2022, but its still works the same. There are some pros and cons of this version. Pros being it’s small and lightweight and can easily fit into your bags and it has clearer screen then most Kindle do. It’s also very affordable, being price at $109 on Amazon, but the prices may varies at different store and websites. Some cons would be the Kindle is made up of some very cheap plastic which makes it very easy to be scratched, and it also makes it very likely for you to scratch the screen. I have had mine for two months and have already scratch the screen, so I would suggest getting a case at the same time of getting the Kindle and this will also help you make it last longer. And I not saying that there easy to break or that they don’t last that long, but that as a precaution get a case, especially if you the type of person who drops their phone all the time.
Now, if you want something something a little bigger, I would suggest getting the 2024 Kindle Scribe. Its a little more pricy, which is $399 on Amazon. Although it is a lot more than the 11th Gen, it has a lot of extra perks. Some being that you have the ability to use a stylist pen instead of just your finger. Some pros of getting the Scribe are it’s ability to take notes, and on top of that, you are also able to making drawling and save then on you screen with you stylist pen. It also has a no ads and a larger screen, 10.2″, making it almost twice the size of the 11th Gen Kindle. A con of having a larger Kindle would probably be it has some weight to it. Granted it only 1lb. compared to other Kindles that’s a lot of weight. Some negatives would be it does have limitations to have much you can take notes. Although there are limitations and some weight that doesn’t mean it a bad Kindle. This is one of the newest Kindle at the moment.
Now, the review of Danielle Fragoso:
Physical copies of books are good to have, especially if there are limited addition and have cool designs on them, but owning an Kindle is very coinvent. Like Myriah said, you can by an unlimited subscription for just $11.99 and if you think about it, you spend $20 or more on a physical copy when you can just pay $12 monthly to read as many books as you want. Not only is it cheaper, but it is also good on your eyes if you have sensitive ones. They make so it likes like actual paper and you can adjust the brightness. You can also edit the way the text looks and the size making it easier for those who have a problem with their sight. My opinion overall is that it is worth your money because of how convent the Kindle is, and one thing I really love about it is the long lasting battery. I used for a whole week and read everyday and by the end of the week it was at 30%.
