If you know the twitch community, you know xQcOW, most commonly known as xQc. ‘xQc’ or ‘xQcOW’ is a popular twitch streamer that is known for his variety of gaming, controversies, raging moments, and gambling addiction. Felix Lengyel (xQc) was born on November 12, 1995, in Quebec, Canada. xQc’s career began when he started to play for small teams in online tournaments. Eventually, he was picked up by a multi-game esports organization Denial Esports. After Denial Esports disbanded, xQc and some of his other teammates competed in Season Zero of Overwatch, which really boosted his career.
Rise to Fame
Twitch is where his rise to fame began. xQc got famous due to his multiple hours of streaming, no matter if he got temporarily banned or suspended, he still came back to play games and stream, he never got affected by the bans. He is determined and focused on streaming.
What makes him so famous? xQc in general is funny, but so is his community. “Chat” aka, viewers, is usually what twitch streamers will call their viewers. xQc’s chat is one the best amongst the twitch community, in my opinion of course, however, the first spot has to go to Forsen. xQc and Forsen have this little rivalry amongst them, which any rivalry in the twitch community is a good thing. While streaming, people are watching at live time, we are the audience. You have to think to yourself, what would people like to see? Well, they want drama. They want to laugh, relax and be entertained. Even when streamers, ExtraEmily and Agent00 were at streamer university, they were around each other and their fans had “shipped” them which means they thought they would be a good couple. They remained close to each other because they got good views and donations, in return, the fans got what they wanted.
Although, streamers stream with other streamers, xQc simply doesn’t need that. His content can consist of just watching YouTube and rambling about the video, and people watch.

Viral Moments
xQc has many viral moments such as “6 consoles” “15 minute delay”. If you search up, “xQc viral moments” so many different videos will pop up of him over the years he’s been streaming for. Like I said xQc is known for his raging moments which gets clipped a lot. Not only that but his chat flames him. For example, when they don’t understand him, he is French Canadian so he does have an accent, but on top of that he talks fast and stutters so you really can’t understand him (Not all the time). Also, when he says something wrong, for example called a cheetah a Cheeto or when he just straight sucks at a game. Long story short it doesn’t take much for xQc to obtain a viral moment. (FYI if you are trying to watch one of the videos on a school device, it most likely won’t work).
