Simu Liu is a Canadian actor, writer, and producer. He is widely known for his role on CBC sitcom Kim’s Convenience Store from 2016. Born in Harbin, China in 1989 and immigrated at age 5 to be raised in Mississauga, Canada. After high school he attended Richard Ivey school of Business and worked at top accounting firm for a year before being laid off. After he was laid off he made the decision to work in film and landed roles in Heroes Reborn, Nikita, Warehouse 13, and Taken.

He has done many things in his career but here are some lesser known facts about him.

Recently he has starred as the main character in a Marvel movie called Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. This movie released September 3 2021 making $145.6 million in box office. The movie is still trending and making money in the box offices so it is safe to say it is a major success.
