The above picture is the picture he posted but later took down. You can clearly see that it is not him as a “Doctor”, but as Jesus. The picture on the left shows Jesus wearing red and white, which is exactly what Trump is wearing.

The picture on the bottom shows Jesus healing someone, and you can see a glow. Trump also appears to be healing someone, with a glow.

However, Doctors in fact do not have a healing glow, nor do they wear a Jesus costume.

“This should be deleted immediately,” wrote Sean Feucht, a Christian activist who is working on a series of faith-based events to mark the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence this year.

“There’s no context where this is acceptable,” he added.

Riley Gaines, a prominent conservative activist, wrote that “God shall not be mocked”.

“This goes too far. It crosses the line,” wrote David Brody, a journalist with the Christian Broadcasting Network. “A supporter can back the mission and reject this.”

The new image that Trump posted on Truth Social was a screengrab from X showing him in front of a microphone with Jesus’s arms draped around him and an American flag in the background.

“The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!!” the president wrote.

Earlier this week, Trump faced fierce pushback among some of his supporters for posting an image that depicted him as Jesus. The president claimed that it was intended to depict him as a doctor.

“I viewed that as a picture of me being a doctor in fixing — you had the Red Cross right there, you had, you know, medical people surrounding me,” Trump said in an interview with CBS News on Monday, seemingly referring to what appeared to be a nurse in the image. “And I was like the doctor, you know, as a little fun playing the doctor and making people better. So that’s what it was viewed as. That’s what most people thought.”’
