Clubs are a great way to make new friends, have fun, and learn about new things. South High School has many clubs to offer. There are chill and relaxing clubs. There are after school clubs, clubs that take place during lunch, and during titan time. If you dont know where to find information about clubs, you can go to the Club Fair during titan time on Septemeber 19th – Septemeber 20th on Thursday and Friday.
I interviewed, a sohmpore and a member of Improv Club, Sol Fitzgerald. I asked, “What made you want to join Improv club?” she said “to Improve my acting skills… in case of shows going wrong I can be prepared”
“Whats your favorite thing about Improv?”
“The people… the scenarios they give, the funny group of kids that are funny and amazing”
“What makes it different from other clubs?”
“The community behind it, the fact that its school approrpiate… very chill”
“When did you join”?
“First meeting last year… September 2023”
“Would you recommend it to other people?”
“Yes, its a fun way to relax and develop acting skills”
“Are there a lot of people in it?”
“Theres lots of people in it… there are rotating people… you can go when you want to”
“Are they looking for more people?”
“Yes, they are looking for more people to join… 13-15 people in a room”
“Is there anything you want to say?”
“Its fun and they meet every Friday”
